Back in the early 20th century 80s, SSM stove had already started manufacturing fuel-saving cookstoves. During the same time, many other stove manufacturer were still “handmade” for their stoves. Which was inefficient, low quality, and no consistency.
Based on that, SSM stove invented several “improved tools” (see left) to improve the manufacturing conditions. Those machineries would help for brings up the efficiency, stove quality and improve the safety of staff during production.
At the beginning of 2000, the second generation of machinery was stepped into the stove production line. According to the general standard equipment in the market, we have developed and customized those machinery. It became more stable and durable during cookstove production.
Also, because of those upgraded machinery, our biomass cookstove models are also being more efficient and more durable. Due to the flexibility of machinery, there were many wood stove, and charcoal stove models were launched during this period. The capacity has been 8 times more, compared to the Gen 1.
As for now, SSM stove have built up a unique fully-auto and intelligent learning machinery, which is the most integrated, high-efficiency, and intelligent production line for the cookstove industry. We have reduced 62% of production labor, but bring up the annual capacity up to 2.8 million stoves. Production staff are also safer now, doing less heavy lifting and “hands-on” manufacturing, instead monitoring the machinery's intelligent computer.
By crossing through all those generations of cookstove machinery upgrades. We hope to share more valuable experience with organizations or enterprises who need advice. For fast promoting local stove manufacturing capability, and delivery of more clean biomass cookstoves for helping the people and climate.
